Time Flies Indeed

Ok, so we're back. I always look at other peoples blogs and get frustrated when they don't update them, and here I am doing the same thing. Which is why I resisted the whole blog thing in the first place, because I knew I wouldn't be good at the up keep..........................anyway, life is busy. Finally, it's summer and the kids are home...........no more running 4 times a day to pick up or drop off, I love summer time just for that little break. We have been fixing up the house. I have been going through room by room and painting. It's about time, we've only been here for 17 years!. We have been promising Wyatt we would take him fishing forever and we finally went Friday night. It was so nice, because we are having unusually nice weather here. Ususally I dread the lake in the summer because it's about 5 degrees hotter than in town and there are no trees for shade! But it's only been in the 90's, so quite a lovely break. he caught 6 little fish that had to be put back, but he was happy. We are going to Huntington, Utah for a family reunion on the 4th of July weekend and then stopping in Cedar City on the way back to spend about 10 days there. we can't wait, we have 2 1/2 acres there. We love the tranquility there. We have a 26' trailer there and a water tower that Kris built. It's simple living and we LOVE it!. Oh!, Kristin got accepted to the highschool she tried out for! I can't believe I just said "highschool" when talking about her. Jeez. She got accepted to the Las Vegas Academy, it's for art. I didn't know that it is actually one of the most prestigious art schools in the country. People move here just to go to school there. Who knew? So she is way excited.

Our Little Family

Well, I guess it's about time we joined the land of blogs. I keep getting asked when I am going to start our own blog, so here it finally is. I am SOOOOOOOOO computer illiterate, so this has been a learning experience, but kinda cool too. So, about our precious family.......................Kris and I met in 10th grade math class way back in September of nineteen hundred and seventy eight. I was 14, he was 16 (way too young to date, but hey what did we know. ) In October, we both had birthdays and turned 15 and 17. Kris asked me to the Homecoming Dance and we have been together ever since. It has been almost 31 years. Alot of tears, both of joy and sorrow, alot of laughs ( plenty if you know Kris, he's so funny) and finally after many, many years of thinking we could not have children, we had two unbelievably beautiful, talented, sweet, lovable, (do you want me to stop now?) intelligent children. They are growing way too fast and we are just not going to allow it anymore. No more growing is allowed ! We forbid it. Our story is a long one, so I won't go into detail now, but perhaps along the way................
